AC Station Service Power Supply

The AC station service power supply consists of AC panel monitoring module, AC monitoring module, switch status monitoring module, automatic transfer switch (ATS), incoming molded case circuit breaker, current transformer, intelligent electric energy meter, feeder circuit breaker and other components. It realizes power distribution and protection from AC station service output to rectifier modules, fundamentally ensuring safe and reliable switching of power supply.

DC Operating Power Supply

The DC operating power supply can reliably supply power to all control loads and various dynamic loads in the substation under both normal and fault conditions of the AC station service power supply. The DC operating power supply system is composed of DC panel monitoring module, rectifier module, voltage step-down module, battery inspection module, insulation monitoring module, digital input monitoring module, power distribution unit and storage battery bank. Three configuration schemes are available for the DC operating power supply as follows:

a) One set of storage batteries, one set of charging device, single busbar connection; applicable to substations of 35kV and below.

b) One set of storage batteries, one set of charging device, sectionalized single busbar connection; applicable to 110kV substations.

c) Two sets of storage batteries, two sets of charging devices, two-section single busbar connection; applicable to critical 110kV substations and substations of 220kV and above.

DC-DC Communication Power Supply

The DC-DC communication power supply directly adopts 220VDC or 110VDC input. The DC-DC power conversion device replaces the traditional dedicated 48V communication power supply. Coordinated with the charging device and battery bank of the DC operating power supply, it provides reliable DC working power for substation communication equipment. The DC-DC communication power supply system comprises communication panel monitoring module, communication power module, integrated monitoring module, digital input detection module and power distribution unit.

AC Uninterruptible Power Supply

Special AC uninterruptible power supply for power industry includes two types: power-dedicated UPS and INV. Neither is equipped with independent battery banks, sharing batteries with the DC system as one of its loads. The power-dedicated INV generally operates in backup mode, mainly supplying power to loads with low power quality requirements such as emergency lighting in substations. Different from INV, the power-dedicated UPS is equipped with an additional rectifier and runs in online mode under normal operation, mainly feeding critical loads with strict power quality requirements such as substation computer monitoring systems.

Power Distribution Unit

The power distribution unit is a feeder unit that transmits AC or DC power to each electrical equipment via load switches. According to functions, power distribution units of the integrated AC & DC power supply system are divided into AC power distribution unit, DC operating power distribution unit and DC/DC communication power distribution unit. The monitoring unit monitors operating parameters of each distribution unit of the integrated AC & DC power supply system in real time through functional modules, and transmits data to sub-monitoring modules of the power system via RS-485 interface for processing.

System Monitoring Module

The integrated AC & DC power supply monitoring system includes one main monitoring module and three groups of sub-monitoring modules, namely AC panel monitoring module, DC panel monitoring module and communication panel monitoring module respectively.

Through RS-485 serial port, the AC panel monitoring module collects and displays data from intelligent devices including AC monitoring module, digital input monitoring module, dual power transfer device, power-dedicated UPS or INV. It also performs alarm processing and historical data management according to setting parameters of the AC power system. Meanwhile, it judges processing results, executes station AC power management and outputs control instructions accordingly under different working conditions.

Through RS-485 serial port, the DC panel monitoring module collects and displays data from intelligent devices such as high-frequency rectifier module, integrated monitoring module, battery inspection module, insulation monitoring module and digital input monitoring module. It supports alarm processing and historical data management based on setting parameters of the DC power system. In addition, it judges processing results, implements station DC power and battery management, and outputs control signals adaptively.

Through RS-485 serial port, the communication panel monitoring module collects and displays data from intelligent devices including communication power module, integrated monitoring module and digital input monitoring module. It can carry out alarm processing and historical data management according to setting parameters of the DC power system. Meanwhile, it analyzes processing results, executes station communication power management and outputs corresponding control operations as required.

The integrated power supply monitoring unit collects data from AC panel monitoring module, DC panel monitoring module and communication panel monitoring module via RS-485 serial port and displays the operating status of each subsystem. Via Ethernet interface, it connects with the substation integrated automation system through DL/T680 (IEC61850) protocol to upload system operating status, key parameters and other information, realizing the "four remote functions" of the integrated AC & DC power supply system.
